Nourish Program using Lupin is improving the lives of aged care residents!
The goal of Lantern Alliance is to improve the quality of food, level of nutrition, and food service within the aged care sector. We educate, support, empower, and train aged care providers to deliver a food and dining experience for residents that exceeds expectations.
Through years of evidence-based research we have developed programs that work and tools that guide success. Across many aged care homes, we demonstrate the use of our proprietary Epicure and Explore software, to diagnose and guide improved performance across food, nutrition and dining experience. Each of our services maps across the current and strengthened Quality Standards to not only meet compliance but guide organisations to 5-star performance.
At Lantern Alliance, we provide advisory services for aged care organizations, focusing on improving the food, nutrition and dining experiences.
At Lantern Alliance we encourage the sharing of knowledge and welcome all to our International community of practice focused on aged care food.
At Lantern Alliance, evidence-based practice and action-based research and research translation are key building blocks to driving results.
The Epicure Rating Report is the only industry-endorsed software for analysing aged care food, nutritional levels, and the dining experience for residents. An Epicure assessment of your aged care facility will help you to reduce resident malnutrition, achieve significant cost savings, and attain a 5-star rating that complies with mandatory Aged Care Quality Standards.
Using the Lantern Alliance Explore app, residents and staff are asked to share a memory about a food and mealtime experience. Their stories and experiences are analysed to guide organisational decision making, priorities and strategies to improve the enjoyment of food in residential aged care setting.
Our workshops and training courses will assist aged care workers and organisations looking to improve their knowledge on nutritional literacy. Topic areas include IDDSI, hospitality 101, food, nutrition and quality standards, measuring the dining experience, and menu planning.
An engaging and rewarding program for aged care staff, volunteers, and community members. Participants are empowered to lead initiatives within their aged care home to identify areas of improvement around food, nutrition and dining.
